왜 그럴까요?
Why?

종파는 용수철을 앞뒤로 나란히 흔들었을 때 용수철의 밀도가 높은 부분과 낮은 부분이 번갈아 생기면서 나아가는 파동이다. 즉 진동방향과 파동의 진행방향이 나란한 것을 종파라고 한다.

Longitudinal waves are waves that go forth when the density of the spring becomes alternately low and high as it is swung back and forth. Thus, waves of which the direction of vibration is parallel to the direction of the waves are called longitudinal waves.
