Why?

거울에 비친 자신의 모습(상)을 보는 것은 자신의 위치에서 거울까지의 거리가 같고 크기가 같은 허상을 보는 것이다. 여기에서는 거울 면 뒤에 나타난 자신의 허상과 같은 위치에 친구의 이미지가 겹쳐서 나타나는 현상을 관찰하는 것이다.

Light illuminates objects and the mirror reflects this light in different ways according to the minute differences in angle of the different pieces. The participant’s appearance differs according to the angle of light.
