드론은 조종사 없이 전파로 정보를 받아 비행 및 조종이 가능한 비행기나 헬리콥터 모양의 군사용 무인항공기를 말한다. 2010년대를 전후하여 군사적 용도 외 다양한 생활 분야에도 활용되고 있다.

A drone is an unmanned military aircraft shaped like a plane or helicopter that can be controlled and flown without a pilot by receiving information through radio waves. Since around 2010, it has been used in diverse areas besides military use.
