Why?

물체가 원운동을 할 때 원의 중심방향으로 힘이 작용하는데 이를 구심력이라고 한다. 동전이 넘어지지 않고 원운동을 할 수 있도록 구심력을 크게 하기 위해 경사면을 설치하였다. 아래로 내려갈수록 경사면의 기울기를 크게 하여 구심력이 커짐으로써 동전이 잘 넘어지지 않게 된다.

The force that is applied towards the center when an object is in circular motion is called centripetal force. An inclined plane was installed to increase centripetal force so that the coin can go in a circular motion without falling over. The slope is steeper towards the bottom so that the centripetal force is increased and the coin doesn’t fall over easily.
