왜 그럴까요?
Why?

자전거 페달을 밟으면 뜨거운 공기가 풍선 안으로 들어간다. 기체에 열이 가해지면 에너지가 커진 입자의 운동이 활발해져 입자 사이의 거리가 멀어진다. 즉 따뜻한 공기는 부피가 커지고 밀도는 작아져 주변 공기보다 상대적으로 가벼워지므로 위로 올라가게 된다.

Stepping on the pedals of the bicycle causes hot air to enter the balloon. When heat is applied to gas, the particles with increased energy become active and the distance between particles increases. Thus, the volume of warm air increases while its density decreases so that it is relatively lighter than surrounding air, which inflates the balloon.
