붐웨커(boomwhackers)는 길이가 다른 플라스틱 파이프를 두드려서 연주하는 악기로 선율악기인 동시에 타악기이다. 붐웨커의 길이가 짧으면 진동수가 커져 높은 소리가 나며, 길이가 길면 진동수가 작아져 낮은 소리가 난다.

Boomwhackers, an instrument played by tapping plastic pipes of different lengths, is a melody instrument as well as a percussion instrument. A high sound occurs when the length of the boomwhackers is short and the frequency increases, while a low sound occurs when the length is long and the frequency decreases.
